Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 July 2026
These terms govern your use of alphashot.io and the Alpha Shot game (together, "the Service"). By playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Alpha Shot is a free browser game. It is provided at no charge and supported by advertising. There is no subscription, no paid tier and nothing in the game that can be purchased with real money.
The Service is offered on an ongoing but not guaranteed basis. Features may be added, changed, rebalanced or removed, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance or discontinued entirely.
2. Eligibility
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and it should not be used by anyone under 13. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your country, you should have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Service.
3. Accounts and progression
You can play without signing in; an anonymous account is created for your browser automatically so progression can be saved. You may optionally link a Google account so that progression follows you between devices.
You are responsible for keeping access to any account you link. Progress associated with an anonymous account may become permanently unreachable if you clear your browser's site data, and it cannot be recovered.
4. In-game currency and items
Alphabucks, gold, weapons, upgrades and items exist only inside the Service. They have no monetary value, cannot be bought with real money, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged, and confer no ownership or property right of any kind. Balances may be adjusted, reset or removed as part of game balancing or abuse prevention.
5. Fair play and the leaderboard
The following are not permitted:
- Modifying, automating or scripting play, including bots, macros, injected code and modified clients.
- Interfering with score submission, or submitting scores not produced by ordinary play.
- Choosing a leaderboard display name that is obscene, hateful, harassing, impersonates another person, or infringes someone's rights.
- Attempting to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure.
- Generating artificial advertisement impressions or clicks, whether your own or others'.
Scores and display names that breach these rules may be removed from the leaderboard, and access to the Service may be restricted, without notice.
6. Advertising
The Service displays advertising, including banner units and an optional rewarded video offered after a run. Watching the rewarded video is always optional and affects only in-game currency; it never affects your score or leaderboard placement. Advertisements are supplied by third parties, and Alpha Shot does not endorse and is not responsible for advertised products, services or linked sites. How advertising data is handled is described in the privacy policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Alpha Shot name, logo, artwork, audio, written guides and game code are owned by Alpha Shot or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may play the game and share links to it freely. You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, host, embed commercially, or create derivative works from the Service without written permission.
Alpha Shot is built on third-party open-source software, including the Phaser game framework, which remains subject to its own licence.
8. User-submitted content
The only content you submit is a leaderboard display name. By submitting one you grant Alpha Shot permission to display it publicly alongside your scores, and you confirm it does not infringe anyone's rights or breach section 5.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Alpha Shot does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that progression data will never be lost.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpha Shot will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, progression, in-game currency or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions — in which case the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to support@alphashot.io. See also the contact page and the privacy policy.
